來去打保齡球！
Today, bowling even has its own special day—National Bowling Day. It takes place on the second Saturday in August each year. It started out in 1956 in order to raise money for the Red Cross. At that time, millions of bowlers from across the US came out for the cause. Interestingly, bowling was enjoyed by many US presidents. In 1947, two lanes were set up in the West Wing of the White House as a gift for President Harry Truman’s birthday.
如今，保齡球甚至有了專屬的特殊節日 ── 國家保齡球日。它於每年八月的第二個星期六舉行。這個節日始於 1956 年，目的是替紅十字會募款。在當時，全美國數百萬名保齡球玩家都參與了這個活動。有趣的是，就連許多美國總統都熱愛保齡球。1947 年，白宮西廂辦公室設置了兩個保齡球道，以作為哈瑞．杜魯門總統的生日禮物。
