Most laughter doesn’t come from jokes or comedy; in fact, we often find things funny when we’re spending time with the people we care about. Moreover, laughter can release tension and lower stress levels. Humans need to socialize in their lives, and when we have positive experiences with people, there are benefits for the entire body. Laughter provides relief from the challenges of life, and that relief improves the function of the immune system and the heart.
