變色龍效應：學人低頭看手機
If you see someone yawn, do you feel like yawning, too? If so, you’re not alone. This is a common phenomenon, and scientists call it the “chameleon effect.”
The chameleon effect happens when people copy each other without realizing it. For example, if you smile when talking to a group of people, they are likely to smile, too. The chameleon effect is usually positive. It helps people blend in with a group, just like a chameleon blends in with its surroundings.
如果你看到別人打呵欠，你會不會也覺得想打呵欠？如果是的話，你並不孤單。這是一個普遍的現象，而科學家稱之為「變色龍效應」。
變色龍效應於人們在不自覺的情況下互相模仿時發生。舉例而言，如果你在和一群人說話時微笑，他們通常也會微笑。變色龍效應通常是正面的。它幫助人融入群體，就像一隻變色龍融入牠的背景環境。
