The global pandemic threw the world into chaos. To keep people safe, the stay-at-home orders put in place worldwide suddenly forced students and workers to perform their tasks from home. While this has caused lots of trouble, society did not break down. Thanks to modern communication technologies, many people were able to overcome the distance to communicate in new and uncommon ways. Online video chat and web conferencing programs and apps exploded as they never have before.
