西班牙音樂家約第．沙瓦爾（Jordi Savall），長年鑽研古樂，周二（10日）在比利時布魯塞爾，與來自歐洲、非洲、南美洲的音樂家，用音樂搬演400年的奴隸歷史。
沙瓦爾的音樂會名為《奴隸之路》（The Routes of Slavery），講述三角貿易中，數百萬非裔人士在15世紀至19世紀淪為奴隸的黑暗歷史。音樂會有來自非洲馬利、馬達加斯加、摩洛哥，美洲巴西、墨西哥、哥倫比亞、阿根廷、委內瑞拉的音樂家，與沙瓦爾創辦的「加泰隆尼亞皇家小教堂合唱團」（La Capella Reial de Catalunya）與「晚星二十一古樂團」（Hesperion XXI）合作演出。
音樂同時穿插許多關於奴隸的書寫，包括希臘哲學家亞里斯多德（Aristotle）、英國探險家李恭（Richard Ligon）、法國哲學家孟德斯鳩（Montesquieu）、美國公民權運動領袖金恩（Martin Luther King）、與奈及利亞作家、諾貝爾文學獎得主索因卡（Wole Soyinka）。
沙瓦爾表示，如果歐洲人記得祖先對於奴隸貿易需要負起的責任，就能把現今的難民問題處理得更好。這場音樂會將在4月12日於德國漢堡演出，隔天於葡萄牙里斯本搬演。他同時表示，如果音樂會要到美國演出，也會加入黑人靈歌。（蘇立／綜合外電報導）
