42-year-old father of four and owner of a bbq food truck, Patrick Zane Thompson, was arrested after the man exhibited erratic behavior leading to the death of the family’s dog.
It began as an, uh, ordinary day for Thompson who later admitted to having … inhaled.
When Thompson arrived home, he saw his 17-year-old daughter wearing a t-shirt he associated with the devil.
He took the “evil” tee to a large BBQ traveler, which he runs his business from. Taking out the smoker, Thompsons burned the shirt.
Thompson was then told to rid of the devil he needed to make a male sacrifice. He had a choice between himself, his 6-year-old son or the family dog.
Naturally, Thompson chose the family poodle.
Thompson admitted to police that he strangled and snapped the dog’s neck.
To complete the sacrifice, Thompson said he needed to put the dog into a “lake of fire.”
Following the incident, Thompson was found lying on a sidewalk in front of his home saying, “do it for God” and that the “Devil made him do it.”
Thompson was arrested upon request by his wife for ...uh, the safety of the children.
