芝加哥暴力事件頻傳，最近又創新例。
據報，上週六芝加哥南環區（South Loop district）發生一樁兒童攻擊事件，令人髮指。
警方表示，一名8歲女童走進傑森美式輕食餐廳（Jason’s Deli）洗手間，嫌犯Reese Hartstirn尾隨她進去。
據稱Reese掐住女童的脖子，女童不斷尖叫，直到失去意識。
女童母親聽到尖叫聲，趕到廁所去救孩子。
餐廳其他客人也加入打鬥，最後終於把嫌犯壓制住，直到警方趕到。
Reese被控多項重罪，包括加重綁架罪、加重毆打13歲以下兒童罪。

Chicago sees more than its fair share of violence every week.
But an attack on a child that allegedly took place last Saturday in the city’s South Loop district is disturbing to say the least.
Police say an 8-year-old girl went to the bathroom in Jason’s Deli, when suspect Reese Hartstirn entered not long after.
Hartstirn allegedly began choking the girl, who screamed before falling unconscious.
The girl’s mother reportedly heard her daughter’s screams and rushed to save her from the alleged attack.
Other customers reportedly joined the fray, ultimately helping to restrain Hartstirn until the cops arrived.
Hartstirn was charged with felony counts of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery to a child under 13.
The girl was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital for treatment. No information about her condition has been released.
