A young boy from Alabama shot and wounded an intruder who threatened to kill him after robbing his house last week.
Eleven-year-old Chris Gaither was alone at his home with a dog in Talladega on the morning of April 27 when a man broke into the house.
Gaither initially grabbed a knife, but then chose to use a handgun to protect himself.
The intruder allegedly had a hamper in his hand when he allegedly threatened to kill Gaither before leaving the house.
Gaither followed the intruder into the yard and fired one warning shot into the air before firing at him.
The last bullet hit the back of the intruder’s leg as he was about to jump a fence.
According to Gaither, after being hit, the intruder then started crying like a little baby.
Some on social media criticized the fact that Gaither had access to a gun when he was home alone, while others cheered his bravery. What do you think?
