槍不會射人，小孩才會！
佛羅里達一位母親Jamie Gilt帶著她4歲兒子，開車馳騁在傑克遜維爾市（Jacksonville）20號高速公路上，要去取一匹馬，原本是愉快的週二下午，沒想到孩子竟從背後射傷媽媽。
其實，意外槍擊案屢見不鮮，但這案子妙的是它特別諷刺。
Jamie本來是一位擁護槍枝的倡議者，她還有一個擁槍的臉書頁面，但已被停權。這位31歲辣媽常常PO出擁護槍枝的宣傳文。
比方說：「我用槍保護孩子的權利，勝過你對槍的恐懼。」
不過，這名熱愛槍枝的媽媽，竟把一隻裝有子彈的.45口徑手槍，放在她小孩拿得到的地方。
小男孩把槍舉起，開了槍，子彈穿過汽車駕駛座，又穿過Jamie身體。幸好，重要器官沒被射中。
此事不只是「槍枝安全」活生生的教訓，巧的是，這位媽媽被射傷前不到24小時，才剛PO文炫耀她兒子的射擊技巧，還說兒子練習射擊前，特別「興奮」！是不是有夠諷刺啊？
有人報案指，一輛卡車在高速公路上動也不動，警方才發現Jamie。她已被送醫急救，目前情況穩定。

Guns don’t shoot people … toddlers do!
Driving down Highway 20 near Jacksonville, Florida’s Putnam County to pick up a horse, Jamie Gilt and her four-year-old son were having an awesome Tuesday afternoon … until the kid shot his mom in the back.
Now, accidental shootings happen all the time and this would be just another slip-up, if it weren’t for a heavy dose of irony.
Jamie is a ‘gun rights activist’ with a Facebook page — that’s wisely been deactivated — called ‘Jamie Gilt For Gun Sense,’ in which this attractive 31-year-old mom posts her pro-gun musings … such as ‘my right to protect my child with my gun trumps your fear of my gun.’
For some reason, this gun enthusiast apparently left a loaded .45 caliber handgun in a spot where her four-year-old was able to grab it.
The boy picked up the weapon, and fired it … The shot went through the driver’s seat … and through Jamie’s body. Luckily, the bullet missed any vital organs.
Again, this would just be a ‘gun safety is important’ story, except that 24 hours before her son shot her in the back, Jamie Gilt had boasted online about her son’s shooting skills… posting about how her little one gets ‘jacked up’ before shooting practice. Isn’t it ironic ?
Deputies responding to a call that a truck and trailer were not moving on the highway found Jamie and rushed her to the hospital, where she’s in stable condition.
