14歲的Georta Mack從沒想過翹個課，竟會害他送命。
該少年綽號叫Dae Dae。當天早上6點半左右，他從位於辛辛那提市（Cincinnati）東普萊斯社區（East Price Hill）的家出門，而他爸爸還在被窩裡。
Dae Dae一如往常，朝巴士站走去。
但沒過多久，他爸爸就聽到樓下傳出奇怪的聲響。
他擔心有人闖入住宅，於是馬上準備應戰，拿出一把填好子彈的手槍。
父親往地下室走去，發覺屋內有人，他嚇得開了槍。
不幸的是，這名父親隨即發現，所謂的「入侵者」其實就是他兒子。Dae Dae翹了課，偷偷溜回家。
Dae Dae的父親打電話報警，緊急送Dae Dae去當地醫院。但他被擊中頸部，宣告不治。
認識該父子的人們，紛紛在臉書致上哀悼之意。
當局還在偵訊這名父親，而他也很配合辦案。
根據初步調查，這起槍擊案確實是意外。

14-year-old Georta Mack never thought his punishment for skipping class would be fatal.
The teen, nicknamed “Dae Dae,” had left his home in the East Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati around 6:30 a.m. while his father was still in bed.
Dae Dae then headed down the street towards the bus stop, just like every other day.
Shortly after, his father awoke to strange noises coming from downstairs.
Fearing it may be an intruder, he wasted no time in preparing for a confrontation, arming himself with a loaded handgun.
Heading down to the basement, the man quickly knew, someone was in his home. Startled, he fired his gun.
Unfortunately, he soon realized the intruder was his own son, who had skipped class and snuck back into the house.
After the father called 911, Dae Dae was rushed to a local hospital. Soon after, he was pronounced dead from the gunshot wound to his neck.
Those who knew him have already begun posting their condolences on Facebook, while authorities continue to interview the teen’s dad, investigators say he is cooperating.
Based on initial findings, they believe the shooting was indeed an accident.
