紐約布魯克林民事法院法官Carolyn Walker-Diallo於12月10日對著可蘭經宣誓就職，現場影片被貼上臉書，引起爭議。
當時法院中，滿座都是來祝賀Carolyn就職的親友。但是可想而知，在美國某些地區，一定有人對此舉不滿。有人說，這是美國即將被推下地獄的最新證據！
還有的網民有「神邏輯」，說她的就職，會讓布魯克林開始實施伊斯蘭教法！
有的網民罵人都懶得拐彎抹角。還有人把這情況，跟特洛伊城的毀滅相提並論。
Carolyn的支持者，揶揄誹謗者的智商。
其實網民大都忽略了一件事，在美國，法官可以用他所選擇的宗教經典，或美國憲法來宣誓就職。
但就算知道了這點，反穆斯林大軍的代表人物－川普，仍想改變現狀－當然，要等他當選了總統再說。

Brooklyn Civil Court Judge Carolyn Walker-Diallo has sparked controversy after footage of her being sworn in while using the Koran to take the oath of office on December 10 was posted on Facebook.
The court was packed with well wishers celebrating her inauguration, but unsurprisingly people across certain sections of the American populace were not so happy, with many suggesting this was the latest evidence that the U.S. is going to hell in a handcart.
Some critics quickly put 2 and 2 together, and got 5, predicting her signing in would soon see Sharia law being practiced in Brooklyn.
Others, such as Bill Loughlin, were more simplistic in their criticism, while some compared the judge’s swearing in to the downfall of Troy.
Carolyn’s supporters, meanwhile, prefered to take aim at the perceived intellectual ability of her detractors.
What most of the commenters failed to realize, however, is that in America, judges can be sworn in using a religious text of their choice, or the United States Constitution. This would have been the smart option.
Sadly, even that knowledge probably wouldn’t be enough to stop calls for the anti-Muslim brigade’s new poster boy to step in and take action — after he is elected president of course.
