A blonde bombshell teacher in Southern California has been arrested for allegedly having sex with one of her underage male students after jealous classmates reported the affair to the school. Sexy Shannon Fosgett, a 44-year-old earth science teacher, resigned from her position and turned herself in to police as rumours of the affair swept around Murrieta Valley High School like wildfire, prompting administrators to get in touch with the authorities.
Fosgett had been placed on administrative leave as the rumors began to swirl around the school quite possibly because the “victim” of the crime just couldn’t keep his big mouth shut and had to tell all his buddies.
The male student told police that Fosgett began showing interest in him over a year ago, which started with texting outside of school hours.
“As the relationship grew, the minor and the teacher engaged in oral sex and ultimately sexual intercorse,” a police statement said.
Fosgett now faces charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 18, and two counts of oral copulation with a minor.
The investigation began last week when students told school administrators about the alleged relationship, which led to the police being informed.
Bail was set at US$40,000, and Fosgett was released from custody on Friday. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 29.
