嫌犯Daniel Selovich被控綁架一名女性，並傷害與強暴長達五週而遭逮捕。
受害女子稱，Selovich於美國阿拉斯加費爾班克斯機場，開一輛U-Haul 搬家貨車載她上車。
在上車後數小時內，受害女子稱Selovish 開始毆打並強暴她。
奇怪的是，之後兩人在費爾班克斯附近的旅館下塌數日，並兩情相悅發生關係。
10月1日，兩人從費爾班克斯搭乘私人包機，飛至距離曼利溫泉城南方約25公里遠的Selovich的小木屋。
他們住在一座帳篷中長達一週，受害女子稱Selovich 用皮帶、手電筒對她失暴，同時也毆打、踢她與咬她。
受害女子稱，9月26日至11月8日間，她每天被傷害與強暴2到6次，並且被綑綁起來限制活動。
女子稱Selovich用膠帶把她跟自己綁住，以防女子逃跑。
但是女子依然發送臉書訊息，告訴她的朋友她有胸痛與肺炎的症狀，試圖引起朋友關心。
Selovich 同時也被控以鋸齒刀割受害女子的臉。
受害女子稱，週二早上9點30分，當Selovich在對她進行強暴時，救援直升機出現了。
受害女子與Selovich兩人被送至費爾班克斯紀念醫院。
在警方進行偵訊時，女子對Selovich進行指控，警方因而逮捕Selovich。
Selovich從2004年就有被指控強暴的犯罪紀錄，但皆撤案。

Daniel Selovich was arrested after being accused to kidnapping, assaulting and raping a female victim over the course of five weeks.
According to the victim, Selovich picked her up in a U-Haul van at the Fairbanks Airport in Alaska.
Within hours of being picked up, the alleged victim claims Selovish punched and raped her.
Surprisingly, the pair checked into a Fairbanks hotel for a few days where they had consensual sex.
Then they reportedly flew in a private charter plane from Fairbanks to Selovich’s cabin 16 miles south of Manley Hot Springs on October 1st.
They lived in a tent for about a week, and the woman claims Selovich abused her with a belt and flashlight in addition to punching, kicking and biting her.
She told police that he kept her tied up, while he assaulted and raped her between two and six times a day between September 26th and November 8th.
The woman said she would be duct taped to him and tied her up so she couldn't’ escape.
Somehow she managed to send a Facebook message to her friend saying she needed medical attention for chest pain and possible pneumonia.
Selovich is also accused of cutting the victim’s face with a serated blade.
She claimed he was in the middle of raping her when the rescue helicopter arrived at around 9:30 on Tuesday morning.
Both the alleged victim and Selovich were taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
During a police investigation, the woman made accusations that led to Selovich’s arrest.
He has a prior criminal history including accusations of rape from 2004 which were dismissed.
