It all started on September 28 as a speedboat carrying Yameen and his wife approached the main jetty in Male.
A small explosive reportedly was placed under the seat normally used by Yameen.
But his wife happened to be sitting there. She was injured along with two others.
Now see these two guys? They’re soldiers and they’re accused of boarding the boat and tampering with evidence.
Police raided their homes and say they recovered bomb making materials.
Yameen says Ahmed is linked to the two arrested soldiers, but Ahmed is denying it.
It was only a few months ago that Yameen promoted Ahmed to the Veep job, now he says Ahmed is trying to kill him.
