LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA — A small plane crashed into a trailer park in Lake Worth, Florida on Tuesday, setting two homes on fire and killing multiple people.
The accident took place at around 5:35 p.m. local time when the plane crashed into two trailer homes at the Mar Mak Colony Club mobile home park.
The Palm Beach County fire department has not released information on casualties, but Domingo Galicia, a resident of the trailer park and the father of a 21-year-old who was in a trailer home the plane crashed into, has confirmed the death of his daughter to local NBC affiliate WPTV.
Domingo Galicia said he was in his trailer home with his daughter Banny Galicia, who had decided not to go to school on that day. Domingo Galicia stepped outside his home just before the plane went down, he told WPTV.
“I heard the motor sounded really bad and then it came, ‘boom,’ and it fell on top of the house,” Galicia said.
Two mobile homes caught fire after the crash. Mar Mak Colony Club staff told local media outlets that three bodies were pulled from the wreckage. Authorities fear that the death toll will rise further, according to BNO News.although they haven’t said where the naked performance will be held yet.
